Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan on Tuesday directed officials to complete the unfinished works at Katedan Sports Complex and open the facility for public use.
During a visit to various development works in the Charminar Zone, the commissioner inspected the sports complex and personally contacted Water Board officials to expedite a water connection for the swimming pool.
He instructed staff to finish the construction of the shuttle badminton court and make it operational for athletes without delay. Once all pending works are completed, he said the facility should be formally handed over to the sports section.
Zonal Commissioner Venkanna, AC Sports Yadagiri Rao, Zonal SE Maheshwar Reddy, CE Ratnakar, and Project EE K.L. Srinivas were present during the inspection.
