Hyderabad, February 9: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy conducted a review meeting on Saturday regarding various infrastructure development projects in Hyderabad. Officials from the State Municipal Administration and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) participated in the discussion.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister provided specific instructions regarding the construction of a bridge over Mir Alam Lake. He directed officials to complete the Detailed Project Report (DPR) within 90 days and submit it to the government. Additionally, he set a timeline of 30 months for the completion of the bridge.
The CM emphasized that the Mir Alam Bridge would be a key tourist attraction, and its surroundings should be designed with children in mind. Officials presented three different proposals for the 2.425 km-long bridge.
Meanwhile, the Municipal Administration and GHMC authorities were instructed to conduct an in-depth study of upcoming flyover projects in Hyderabad. The Chief Minister also provided suggestions on road widening and asked officials to compile detailed information within two days.
The meeting was attended by CM Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, Municipal Administration Principal Secretary Dana Kishore, GHMC Commissioner Ilambarithi, Musi Riverfront Development Limited Joint Managing Director Gauthami, CM Special Secretary Ajith Reddy, Government Advisor Srinivasa Raju, and other senior officials.
