HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited his home constituency, Kodangal, on Saturday, where he hosted an Iftar dinner for the Muslim community. During the event, he acknowledged the people of Kodangal for empowering him with leadership responsibilities. He remarked that while some individuals might be disheartened by the loss of their positions, the residents should not be concerned with such sentiments.
CM Reddy emphasized that the Congress Party has historically provided significant opportunities to the Muslim community. He announced the allocation of 25% of MLA funds specifically for the development of Muslims in Kodangal. Addressing local concerns, he assured that for Kodangal’s development, residents need not travel to Hyderabad; instead, they can submit written requests, and he would personally address them in Kodangal. He highlighted that with a single signature, necessary resources and approvals would be directed to Kodangal, eliminating the need for constituents to seek assistance elsewhere.
Earlier, via social media, CM Revanth Reddy extended Ugadi greetings to the people of Telangana. He expressed hopes for a prosperous new year, fulfillment of righteous desires, timely rains, and abundant harvests bringing joy to farmers’ families. He also announced that on the occasion of Ugadi, the government would commence the distribution of free fine rice to every family possessing a ration card in the state.
