Hyderabad, January 13: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy extended heartfelt Sankranti greetings to Telugu people on Monday. He wished for the festive season, including Bhogi, Sankranti, and Kanuma, to bring joy, prosperity, and new opportunities for all.
In his message, the Chief Minister expressed hope that the festival would brighten the lives of nearly one crore farmers, agricultural workers, and underprivileged families across the state. Highlighting government initiatives, he mentioned the increase in the Rythu Bharosa support to Rs. 12,000, financial assistance for agricultural labourers under the Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa scheme, new ration cards to ensure food security, and the allocation of Indiramma housing for the homeless.
CM Revanth Reddy emphasised his commitment to ensuring that every eligible beneficiary receives the benefits of welfare programmes. He expressed confidence that Telangana would continue its unmatched progress in agriculture, employment generation, and industrial growth.
Urging people to celebrate Sankranti while preserving the rich Telugu tradition, he advised caution during kite-flying activities to ensure safety. The Chief Minister concluded by wishing for a festive season filled with freedom, happiness, and prosperity for all.
