HYDERABAD, February 11: A delegation of BJP Members of Parliament met with the Chairman of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to discuss the status of ongoing and pending road projects in Telangana. The meeting, held in Delhi, focused on expediting critical infrastructure developments in the state.
The MPs highlighted delays in key highway projects, stressing their importance for regional connectivity and economic growth. They urged the NHAI to address bottlenecks and ensure timely completion.
According to sources, the delegation emphasised the need for improved road infrastructure, particularly in areas witnessing rapid urbanisation. They also sought intervention to resolve land acquisition issues affecting project progress.
NHAI officials assured the delegation that necessary measures would be taken to accelerate the pending works. Further meetings are expected to follow for continuous monitoring and resolution of concerns.
