HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy returned to Hyderabad on Friday after attending the World Economic Forum in Davos. He arrived at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport via Dubai, where Congress leaders and activists welcomed him warmly.
During his three-day visit to Davos, CM Reddy secured investments totaling Rs 1,78,950 crore for the state. This is a significant increase compared to the Rs 40,232 crore in investments obtained during last year’s visit. The state government signed memorandums of understanding with 16 prominent companies across sectors such as Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Energy. These agreements are expected to create employment opportunities for approximately 49,500 youths in Telangana.
Upon his arrival, Congress MLAs Danam Nagender, Mal Reddy Rangareddy, Veerlapalli Shankar, Rammohan Reddy, along with party leaders and workers, greeted the Chief Minister at the airport. They praised his successful tours in Singapore and Davos, acknowledging the significant investments secured for the state.
The substantial increase in investments from the previous year highlights the state’s growing appeal to global investors. The new agreements are anticipated to bolster Telangana’s economic development and provide numerous job opportunities for its residents.
