HYDERABAD: A tragic road accident in Andhra Pradesh’s Kadapa district claimed three lives on Monday. The incident occurred near Nadimpalli in Ontimitta mandal, where a speeding jeep rammed into a Bolero vehicle and subsequently hit an RTC bus.
According to reports, the RTC bus was travelling from Kadapa when it was struck by a Bolero jeep coming at high speed. The impact was severe, resulting in the immediate death of three individuals travelling in the jeep. Two others, including the jeep driver and a police constable, sustained serious injuries.
Police rushed to the scene upon receiving information and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. The identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed.
The accident has once again raised concerns over reckless driving and road safety in the region. Investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the collision.
