Hyderabad: The Telangana government has finalised the allocation of ministerial portfolios to three newly-inducted ministers.
Dr Vivek Venkatswamy has been entrusted with the Labour, Employment, Training, and Factories portfolio. He will also oversee the crucial Mines and Geology department.
Adluri Laxman Kumar has been handed a broad social welfare mandate. His responsibilities include the Scheduled Castes Development Department, the Tribal Welfare Department, and the Minorities Welfare Department. Additionally, he will steer the Department for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Senior Citizens, and Transgender persons.
Vakiti Srihari will now head the Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, and Fisheries department, alongside overseeing Sports and Youth Services.
The reallocation of portfolios was formalised through an official order issued by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao, underscoring the government’s commitment to efficient administration and balanced governance.
