HYDERABAD: Many parts in Hyderabad experienced a sudden shift in weather, with heavy rainfall affecting multiple areas of the city. Earlier in the day, residents faced intense heat, but the unexpected downpour brought much-needed relief. Localities such as Dilsukhnagar, Kothapet, and Nagole reported significant rainfall. Similarly, in the Ibrahimpatnam constituency of Ranga Reddy district, Yacharam mandal and its surrounding regions experienced rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has indicated the formation of a surface trough over the Bay of Bengal, moving in a northeasterly direction. This system is expected to bring heavy rains to northeastern states and light showers to parts of northern India, along with gusty winds. Residents are advised to stay updated with local weather forecasts and take necessary precautions during this period of fluctuating weather conditions.
