Hyderabad: With the redevelopment of Secunderabad railway station in full swing, Commissioner R.V. Karnan inspected the bus stops around the station on Thursday to assess the impact on local commuters.
As part of the city’s broader infrastructure plan, the Commissioner also visited the proposed flyover construction site at Rasoolpura under the H-City project. He instructed officials to immediately initiate land acquisition for the project.
Officials informed the Commissioner that approximately 24 metres of land from the railway boundary would be required for the flyover. Project SE Srinivas requested the Commissioner to allocate alternative land for the bus stop and facilitate its relocation.
The Commissioner assured that all necessary measures would be taken to ensure minimal inconvenience to commuters during the ongoing works, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to modernising transport infrastructure while keeping public convenience in mind.
