Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited the residence of senior Congress leader and former Home Minister Jana Reddy on Monday. Chief Advisor to Telangana Government Dr K Kesava Rao was also present. The three leaders held discussions on several key issues, including Operation Kagaru, peace talks, and the ceasefire process.
It is known that the Justice Chandrakumar-led Peace Talks Committee had recently met Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, urging him to persuade the Central Government to halt Operation Kagaru—an initiative aimed at eliminating Maoists—and instead uphold a ceasefire agreement.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated during the meeting that the government views the Maoist issue through a social lens and indicated that he would seek advice from Jana Reddy regarding the matter.
Following this, Revanth Reddy visited Jana Reddy’s residence early today to discuss how to proceed with Operation Kagaru and related peace initiatives.
