L&T representatives appear Before Kaleshwaram Commission

HYDERABAD: On Friday, representatives from Larsen & Toubro (L&T) appeared before the Kaleshwaram Commission at BRK Bhavan in Hyderabad. The commission, led by Justice PC Ghosh, is investigating irregularities in the Kaleshwaram Project. L&T was responsible for constructing the Medigadda Barrage. The commission questioned the company’s officials about issues related to the sinking of piers, design specifications, quality control, and maintenance practices. This inquiry follows the commission’s ongoing examination of various construction firms involved in the project. On the previous day, representatives from Navayuga Engineering Company, which built the Sundilla Barrage, were also interrogated. The commission’s cross-examination is based on affidavits previously submitted by these companies. The focus on L&T aims to uncover details about the damages observed in the Medigadda Barrage. The findings from this session are anticipated with interest.
