HYDERABAD, January 25, 2025: Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, the Congress MLA representing Munugode, has addressed recent speculations regarding his aspirations for a ministerial role. Speaking to the media on Saturday, he stated that if his primary goal had been to secure a ministerial position, he would have contested from the LB Nagar constituency. Alongside Rajagopal Reddy, Aleru MLA and Government Whip Beerla Ilaiah, Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham, and Devarakonda MLA Balu Naik are also considered hopefuls. Each is advocating for their inclusion in the cabinet, citing the need for representation of their respective communities. Many have approached Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka to present their cases. Government officials have indicated that a cabinet expansion is anticipated before the upcoming local elections. An official announcement from the party leadership is awaited to determine who will be inducted into the cabinet.
