HYDERABAD: A woman from Kethepally staged a protest outside Nakirekal Police Station on Saturday, alleging police inaction on her complaint against her husband, an Armed Reserve (AR) constable. She accused him of having an extramarital affair with his niece.
According to the woman, she had lodged a complaint with the police regarding the alleged affair, but no action had been taken against her husband. She claimed that despite her repeated efforts, no notice was served to him. Frustrated by the lack of response, she confronted the police station staff directly.
During the protest, she accused the sub-inspector of fabricating false reports to shield her husband. She demanded immediate action and urged the authorities to ensure justice. The police have not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident.
