HYDERABAD, February 6: KA Paul, President of the Praja Shanti Party, issued a caution to US President Donald Trump regarding actions affecting Indian citizens. Addressing the media on Thursday, Paul stated, “I will do anything for Indians. Trump should not confront Indians. As he is my friend, I am advising him beforehand.” He questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s response to reports of Indian citizens being handcuffed in the US, asking, “Are they terrorists or rapists to be treated that way?” Paul demanded that Modi cancel his upcoming US visit and called for the resignation of External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar.
Paul emphasized that the US requires India’s cooperation to counter China. He criticized political figures, noting that while Delhi leaders consult him for political advice, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has not. Paul also urged Indian citizens facing difficulties in the US to contact him through his website, assuring them of his support.
Additionally, Paul criticized the Revanth Reddy-led government in Telangana, alleging exploitation of the state. He called on MPs and MLAs to voice their opposition to the Congress administration. Paul further accused N. Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Nara Lokesh of collectively exploiting Andhra Pradesh.
