Hyderabad: Several illegal buildings in Hyderabad’s Miyapur area, specifically in Hyder Nagar, were razed on Monday morning by the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA).
The demolitions were carried out under tight police supervision after complaints surfaced about encroachments on government land. Responding swiftly, HYDRAA officials arrived at the site with heavy machinery and brought down the unauthorised structures.
Sources said the civic team acted based on confirmed reports of unauthorised construction. The drive faced resistance from a few locals who reportedly attempted to obstruct the operation. However, the authorities continued with the demolition amid heavy security arrangements.
