Hyderabad: The Summer Coaching Camp 2025 organized by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has concluded successfully.
Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilatha Shobhan Reddy, who attended as chief guest, said the camp had given children more than just summer engagement. “This camp has opened up a space for talent to emerge, for skills to grow, and for confidence to take root,” she said, adding that events like these remind us of the importance of investing in the next generation.
She also touched upon the state government’s larger efforts in youth development, pointing to recent initiatives to improve sports grounds, set up training camps, and offer financial support to athletes from modest backgrounds. “This is not just about one event it’s about building the ecosystem for tomorrow’s champions,” she remarked.
Acknowledging the behind-the-scenes effort, the Deputy Mayor thanked parents, coaches, and GHMC staff whose commitment brought the programme to life. She expressed confidence that the lessons children took home would stay with them, shaping their future paths. “These young minds are our city’s strength and GHMC will always stand by them,” she assured.
The closing event saw participation from a wide cross-section of public representatives and civic officials. Among those present were Monda Market Corporator Deepika, Addagutta Corporator Lingaiah Prasanna, Additional Commissioner (Sports) Yadagiri, Deputy Commissioner Maruthi Diwakar, and senior officers including Subhash Rao, Ram Anjaneyulu, and Raju Naik.
