HYDERABAD: A fire broke out at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, where the Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL team is currently staying. The incident occurred on the first floor of the hotel.
According to reports, flames erupted due to an electrical short circuit. The hotel management immediately alerted the fire department, who rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
Fire officials confirmed that the blaze was caused by a malfunction in the electrical wiring on the first floor. Thick smoke spread across the surrounding area, causing panic among guests and staff.
There were no casualties reported in the incident. However, the fire created considerable alarm inside the hotel, leading guests and employees to evacuate the premises as a precautionary measure.
Authorities stated that the situation is now fully under control, and normalcy has been restored at the hotel.
