HYDERABAD: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings for heavy rains and thunderstorms in the erstwhile Adilabad and Karimnagar districts of Telangana. In response, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to stay alert and take necessary precautionary measures to prevent any disruptions.
CM Revanth Reddy has emphasized that all departments must be on high alert to ensure the safety of residents and minimize inconvenience to the public. He has instructed officials to take proactive steps to avoid loss of life and property.
The Chief Minister has also ordered Chief Secretary to conduct a teleconference with the collectors of the affected districts immediately. Authorities have been directed to implement all necessary measures to mitigate the impact of the heavy rainfall and strong winds expected in the region.
