Mumbai, February 1: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) hosted the ‘Naman Awards’ ceremony at its headquarters in Mumbai on Saturday, honouring outstanding performances in Indian cricket.
Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar received the prestigious Colonel CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award. Ravichandran Ashwin was presented with a special award, while Jasprit Bumrah and Smriti Mandhana were named the best male and female cricketers, respectively.
In the debut category, Sarfaraz Khan won the Best Men’s Debut award, while Asha Sobhana was recognised as the Best Women’s Debutant.
Among the women’s cricket awards, Mandhana was named Best Batter, while Deepti Sharma won the Best Bowler title.
In domestic cricket, Shashank Singh was awarded Best White-Ball All-Rounder, while Tanuj Kotian was recognised as the Best Red-Ball All-Rounder.
The ceremony celebrated excellence in both international and domestic cricket, recognising players for their significant contributions to the sport.
