HYDERABAD: Telangana is currently facing severe heat conditions, with temperatures surpassing 40°C in multiple regions. Notably, northern districts such as Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Mancherial, and Jagtial are experiencing intense heat accompanied by hot winds.
The Hyderabad Meteorological Center has reported that temperatures in these northern districts have exceeded 40°C. A heatwave alert has been issued for the state, effective until March 19. An ‘Yellow Alert’ has been announced for the next two days, advising residents to avoid outdoor activities during daytime hours unless absolutely necessary.
In the capital city of Hyderabad, temperatures are expected to range between 39°C and 40°C during this period. These conditions are part of a broader national trend, with severe heat being reported across various parts of the country.
