The Cabinet meeting, held at the Secretariat, lasted for several hours. The ministers finalized that the Telangana Assembly Budget Sessions will commence on March 12 and continue until March 27. Additionally, the Cabinet approved large-scale job notifications to address employment needs across the state.
As part of the employment drive, the Cabinet sanctioned 10,950 Village Level Officer (VLO) posts. Furthermore, 217 new posts were approved for new revenue divisions and mandals, and 55 posts were sanctioned for district courts across 10 districts.
The Cabinet also decided to implement the Bhoobharathi land records system from Ugadi and form a special committee on river water management.
