Telangana citizens return

Hyderabad: Twenty-five more citizens from Telangana returned to India from conflict-affected areas in the Middle East, taking the total number of evacuees to 48 as of June 25, according to government officials.

Under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s direction, evacuation efforts have continued in coordination with authorities in affected regions. Of the latest group, 18 passengers arrived from Israel and seven from Iran.

All returnees landed in New Delhi, where they were received by Telangana Bhavan staff. Officials arranged refreshments and provided assistance for further travel. Most evacuees opted for self-arranged flights to Hyderabad, with state personnel facilitating transit.

Officials said evacuation operations have gathered pace following the implementation of a ceasefire and the reopening of previously restricted airspace.

The Telangana Bhavan helpline remains operational for citizens still in transit or awaiting evacuation. Officials said the state government would continue its efforts until all affected citizens are brought home safely.

Under the directions of the Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri @revanth_anumula, the Government of Telangana continues its efforts to ensure the safe return of citizens stranded in conflict-affected areas of the Middle East.
