Hyderabad: Datta Reddy, a reporter with the Enam daily, died of a cardiac arrest in Warangal late Sunday night. He was rushed to MGM Hospital after complaining of chest pain, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Datta Reddy hailed from Maddelachervu in Pitlam mandal of Kamareddy district. He joined Enam in 2015 and had earlier worked in Hyderabad and Nalgonda. He was transferred to Warangal in September last year.
Known for his investigative reports on various issues, Datta Reddy had built a strong readership. He is survived by his wife Priyanka and six-year-old son Shryaanish.
His sudden demise has been mourned by members of the journalist community.
