Hyderabad: An 18-year-old boy was killed and two others were injured in a motorcycle accident near Yacharam in Hyderabad’s outskirts on Sunday morning.
The deceased, identified as Srinath from Jallalaguda, had travelled to Vizag Colony with friends Ramayanam Manideep and Shonti Charan. The three stayed overnight at Srinath’s relatives’ house in Venjamur village due to nightfall.
On Sunday morning, while returning home on a single motorcycle, they met with an accident near an HP petrol pump in Yacharam mandal. The vehicle lost control and rammed into a roadside tree.
Srinath suffered fatal head injuries and died on the spot. The two injured were shifted to a government hospital for treatment.
Police registered a case and are investigating the cause of the accident.
