Hyderabad: The GHMC on Thursday sealed two illegally constructed buildings in Jubilee Hills and Shaikpet, intensifying its crackdown on unauthorised structures.
In Jubilee Hills, officials seized a five-storey building under construction without permission in Jawahar Nagar near Annapurna Studio Lane. The operation was carried out by Town Planning staff under the supervision of Jubilee Hills Circle Deputy Commissioner Sammayya.
In a separate action, another five-storey structure at Falcon Valley, Shaikpet, was sealed. The builder had obtained approval only for three floors but continued to build in violation of sanctioned plans.
Deputy Commissioner Sammayya said notices had been issued earlier, but the builders failed to respond. Acting on instructions from higher authorities, officials proceeded with the seizures.
He warned that any further construction without approval would attract strict action.
