HYDERABAD: Telangana Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Captain N. Uttam Kumar Reddy visited Delhi to discuss the ongoing Krishna River water dispute. He attended a Supreme Court hearing on the matter and later met Mukesh Sinha, the newly appointed Chairman of the Central Water Commission.
During the meeting, Uttam Kumar Reddy urged the chairman to focus on resolving Telangana’s irrigation challenges. The minister highlighted the difficulties faced by the state and sought the commission’s intervention to ensure fair water allocation.
