Hyderabad: MLC Balmuri Venkat on Monday alleged that BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao was caught red-handed in the Formula E car race case. He said if KTR is sincere, he should answer ACB investigators honestly.
Reacting to KTR’s earlier statement that he would appear before the ACB even if summoned thirty times, Venkat said authorities could summon him three hundred times if necessary, and KTR must face the inquiry and reveal facts. He made these remarks in a video released on Monday ahead of KTR’s ACB appearance.
Venkat accused KTR of violating RBI regulations and criticised him for speaking shamelessly despite being exposed. He asserted that the Congress government has no need to file fabricated cases against KTR, stating that when BRS was in power, KTR himself had filed hundreds of cases against Revanth Reddy and other Congress leaders, leading to their imprisonment for several months. He questioned whether that should be called sadism or something else.
Venkat further alleged that KTR is destined to face jail time for every scam he committed and claimed that even his own family members have described him as a demon. He called on KTR to stop his drama and cooperate with the investigation. Venkat predicted that KTR would not even win as an MLA in the next elections.
