Hyderabad: All India Congress Committee (AICC) Telangana in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan has initiated a round of strategic consultations with party leaders across the state, beginning with key parliamentary constituencies.
The first set of meetings took place at the party’s camp office in Hyderabad’s Hyderguda area, bringing together ministers, MPs, and MLAs from Adilabad, Peddapalli, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Zaheerabad, Medak, and Malkajgiri.
Party sources said discussions began with leaders from the Adilabad Lok Sabha segment, focusing on local issues, the government’s ongoing programmes, and how effectively the party’s election promises are being fulfilled.
Natarajan reportedly urged leaders to intensify efforts to connect state welfare schemes with grassroots beneficiaries and ensure visibility of Congress-led initiatives. She emphasised strengthening the party’s presence in all districts and constituencies through active public engagement.
The AICC leader is also expected to hold one-on-one sessions with current MLAs as well as candidates who lost in the recent Assembly elections, as part of a larger push to rejuvenate the party’s base across Telangana’s 119 constituencies.
