HYDERABAD: A woman, along with her lover, murdered her husband in the Kandukur police station limits of Ranga Reddy district on Saturday.
According to police reports, the couple, Praveen and Prameela from Dannaram village, were married and had two children. For some time, Prameela had been involved in an extramarital affair, leading to frequent quarrels between the couple.
Late on Friday night, Prameela, with the assistance of her lover, strangled Praveen to death. They then attempted to stage the scene to make it appear as if Praveen had committed suicide by hanging.
However, Praveen’s parents and local villagers grew suspicious and alerted the police. Upon reaching the scene and questioning Prameela and her lover, the police uncovered the truth behind the murder.
The Kandukur police have registered a case and stated that an investigation is underway.
