HYDERABAD: Rajendranagar police arrested six individuals in connection with a robbery that took place five days ago in the Suncity area, including a relative of the complainant. Police seized two knives, gold and silver jewellery, two mobile phones, and a car from their possession.
According to police reports, the robbery occurred in broad daylight, and all accused were apprehended within four days. On 21 April, the complainant, Mohammed Shakir Ali, reported that while he and his family were at home, four unidentified persons forcibly entered through the door and threatened him and his wife at knifepoint. The accused then broke open a cupboard and looted gold and silver ornaments, cash, and two mobile phones.
Investigations revealed that the prime accused, Jibran Bin Jabir, who works as a driver and is a relative of the complainant, was aware of the valuables kept in the house. He allegedly conspired with others, arranged the weapons and the car, and orchestrated the robbery.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Mohammed Aqeel, Mohammed Fasihuddin, Sohail Khan, Mohammed Abdul Javed, and Mohammed Shabbir, alongside Jibran Bin Jabir.
