HYDERABAD: The Intermediate annual examination results have been announced. The results were officially released at the Intermediate Board office in Nampally by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka.
Girls outshone boys in both the first and second-year examinations.
In the first year, the overall pass percentage stood at 65.96%. Among the 4,88,430 students who appeared, 3,22,191 cleared the exams. A significant gender gap was noted in performance—73.83% of the girls passed compared to 57.83% of the boys.
In the second year, the overall pass rate was slightly lower at 65.65%. Of the 5,08,582 students who took the exams, 3,33,908 were declared successful. Once again, girls performed notably better, with a pass percentage of 74.21%, while boys lagged behind at 57.31%.
